Wooden wick "Booster" including metal base

Wooden wick "Booster" is a double wick made of rosewood, 150 mm long and includes a metal base for inserting the wooden wicks. Our wooden wicks "Boosters" are untreated - neither pre-waxed nor inlaid - and in principle work with all types of candle wax (except gel).

Available in the following sizes (width x length x thickness in mm):
10x150x 1 mm to approx. 70 mm O
13x150 x 1 mm to approx. 80 mm O
16x150 x 1 mm to approx. 90 - 100 mm O
20x150 x 1 mm for candles over 90 - 100mm O
Depending on which wax, wax color and fragrance oil is used, deviations are possible. For rapeseed wax you should always plan for at least one wick size larger. Therefore , please be sure to test before larger series of candles .

Application

To achieve a more beautiful flame and a more even burning of the wooden wicks, you can place the wooden wicks in candle wax, fragrance oil or cooking oil. Liquid coconut oil, olive oil or sunflower oil are suitable as cooking oil. In our tests, soaking in olive oil - for at least 24 hours - achieved the best results. At this point, we strongly advise against soaking the wooden wicks in lamp oil, as this can pose a very serious danger to children and animals. At this point: Use only at your own risk!
