Cotton wick Wedo RD series in meters
Traditionally, the RD series is mainly used in table, tapered, household, church and pillar candles made of beeswax. However, it is also frequently used in paraffin wax applications. The round wick is also becoming increasingly popular for use with natural candle waxes.
The series consists of round cotton wicks with additional tension threads. The integrated tension threads cause the wick to bend slightly and shorten during the burning phase.
RD wicks have a “head”, meaning they are designed to be used in one direction, which also makes wax transport easier.
This series includes an extensive range of wick sizes to cover small to large candle diameters.
The RD series is produced in Germany by the "Westdeutsche Dochtfrabrik" in accordance with the standard requirements of the quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 . It meets the Ökotex Standard 100 and has been awarded the RAL GZ-041 quality mark by the "RAL Gütegemeinschaft Kerzen eV". This means you can rely on the "RAL - freedom from harmful substances".

*Depending on the wick number/size, there is a different number of meters on each spool. This depends on the spooling device and is beyond our control. Therefore, the meter specifications can vary. Excess or less than the quantity/meter do not constitute grounds for complaint, as the spools are sold as individual items.
Please note: Round wicks were originally designed primarily for beeswax, but work wonderfully with other natural candle waxes. However, since beeswax naturally has a very high degree of hardness/melting point, the size specifications can vary greatly.
¹ The candle diameters given are recommendations based on standard burning results. They should therefore be seen as a starting point for test attempts. Different candle systems may produce different burning results/consumption .
You can also use the candle wicks for "double wick candles" and "three wick candles" to achieve a larger flame radius.

Our candle wicks , candle dyes and dried flowers come to you in a recyclable and environmentally friendly paper bag.
The fragrance oils are bottled in a brown bottle that protects against external light influences and has little to no negative influence on the scent.
Our candle waxes also come to you in a recyclable and environmentally friendly paper bag. These can be quickly and easily reclosed using the clip provided.
From 20Kg+ the candle wax is delivered in the manufacturer's box. Please understand that we have no direct influence on the packaging materials used.
