Essential oil: blood orange oil
Essential oil: blood orange oil
Our 100% pure essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts obtained without any artificial additives. The most common method is steam distillation, in which steam extracts the valuable aromatic compounds from flowers, leaves, or resins. Cold pressing is used for citrus oils. These oils are especially popular for their aromatherapy benefits, promoting relaxation, well-being, and naturally improving indoor air quality.
Blood orange oil is a very volatile oil. Therefore, its scent is barely perceptible, if at all, in a candle on its own; in the worst case, it may even smell burnt. It is therefore important to mix this oil with a base note (see fragrance pyramid) or, if necessary, with a heart note to bind the scent and make it perceptible.
